Why Karen Sage over Mindy Montford? I have reservations about Mindy but most of my friends 'on the inside' are supporting her. I know nothing about Karen.

Thx

DS:Karen actually came up and introduced herself to us that were there prior to the meeting starting, and I really admired her commitment she's shown to getting offenders with mental health issues out of the justice system, and I think her experience in NY as a US attorney puts her ahead of Mindy. She had a presence in front of us that Mindy didn't match that night. Karen got more than 50% of the vote from ALGPC, but the bylaws say you have to have 2/3 vote to get the endorsement. When no one gets that, there's the option to issue a dual endorsement, which the caucus did.
