Indeed - with the help of the pool schedule & a sunny day outside, I was able to get a lane to myself at about 3pm. There were parking spaces, quiet pool area, and got in 1250 yards in about 40 minutes or so.
Coming back into the office however, I'm sure I reek of chlorine. They probably gave it a good dose after the rugrats were in it all day yesterday since they couldn't be outside playing. I'll have to keep that in mind as well. *squint*
Where do you go to swim? The Y on McNeil? How much does it cost? I need to do something more aerobic and I don't like the gym we belong to.
Yeah - YMCA. Its $70/month for the family (Chaz, me, and his two nephews) and you can use any Austin Y. Additionally, what you'll find is that you can use Y's on the road as well, often without paying anything. That was the best part; being able to avoid the hotel-room turned into a 'fitness center' and go to a real gym.
